Educational qualifications required for BSF recruitment 2013 notification:

• ASI(RM):- Matric with 3 year diploma in radio and TV technology or Electronics or telecommunication or computer or mechanical or electrical Engineering or Domestic Appliances from any recognised university.(or)10+2 or equivalent or Intermediate with aggregate marks.
• HC(RO):- Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training institute certificate in radio and TV or electronics or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent .
• HC(Fitter):- Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training institute certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel mechanic or automobile or motor mechanic or  Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent .

Age limit for BSF recruitment 2013 notification :

• general candidates who have age limit in between 18-25 years as on 30 September 2013  are eligible to apply.
• OBC candidates who have age limit in between 18-28 years as on 30 September 2013 are eligible to apply.
• SC/ST candidates who have age limit in between 18-30 years as on 30 September 2013 are eligible to apply .
